Berkeley lab
A laboratory founded in 1931 by E.O. Lawrence (inventor of the cyclotron) and managed by the University of California for the U.S. Department of Energy. It plays a leading role in particle physics and conducts research in advanced materials, life sciences, energy efficiency, detectors and accelerators. The site hosts a range of educational sites such as "The Particle Adventure".
