Berkeley lab
- A laboratory founded in 1931 by E.O. Lawrence (inventor of the cyclotron) and managed by the University of California for the U.S. Department of Energy. It plays a leading role in particle physics and conducts research in advanced materials, life sciences, energy efficiency, detectors and accelerators. The site hosts a range of educational sites such as "The Particle Adventure".

Center for Synchrotron Radiation Research and Instrumentation
- An organization hosted by the Illinois Institute of Technology and funded in part by a grant received under the State of Illinois' Higher Education Cooperation Act. CSRRI promotes, coordinates, and fosters research and educational activities in synchrotron radiation science and related fields at IIT. The site contains a database of the X-ray properties of elements.

South African Institute of Physics subgroup for Lasers, Optics and Spectroscopy
