Associations
The Society is associated with the South African Chemical Institute and the South African Institute of Physics for purposes of closer collaboration between disciplines.
As a result of these associations the following benefits accrue to members of the Society:
- joint meetings are arranged at lower registration fees
- conferences, symposia, short courses, etc, organised by the Institutes on spectroscopic subjects may be attended at the lower registration fees available to Institute members
SASS co-hosting Geoanalysis 2009, 7 to 11 September
